'All the right numbers'

Scorecard & Course Map

As you can see from the Scorecard below, the course at Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club may be far from the longest you will play. But Willie Park (Jnr) and Old Tom Morris knew exactly how to make the very most out of the terrain and have conjured up a magnificent test of your golfing skills. Right from its creation the layout of the holes was carefully crafted to fit naturally within the landscape and from several of the holes you can enjoy some of the best views of any course in Scotland or beyond.

Every hole at the Strathpeffer Spa Golf Course is distinctly unique and with a total of seven par 3’s and a good number of raised greens your iron play will need to be at its best if you are to master the course. Blind tee shots, water hazards, sloping lies and tiered greens are all challenges that will make you want to return again and again. But there are birdie opportunities too with the first hole featuring one of the greatest drops from tee to green of any course in Scotland and can make for a flying start to your round if you avoid the burn and out-of-bounds adjacent to the green. Near the conclusion of your round you have another great opportunity at the 17th to make a birdie if you can negotiate the blind tee shot and find the fairway.

After you’ve finished your round be sure to visit the 19th hole in the clubhouse for a refereshing drink and some food, all served by our friendly staff.
